I Miss My Best Friend Amanda

What can I say I miss my best friend. We were always there for each other. It is now when I am having to decorate my house on my own and decorate my daughter’s room that I miss her the most. I love living in Charlotte, but its just not the same not having my best friend only 15 minutes away. Amanda is the girl I could tell anything to. We never felt guilty eating fast food at 2am. She is one of the only people who could give me the honest truth about myself and I won’t get mad because I know its said from love. Today Zac and I took maternity pics and Picture People. They are great and we got all pics before leaving. But now as I sit here with all these great framed and matted photos it is when I miss her again. Amanda would have been here in a second and within an hour we would have already did the collage on Astrid’s wall, hung up the other pics in the house, and would probably be eating somewhere. There are only so many BEST friends that would come over to your house and not only completely re-decorate your house but help you clean it as well. I miss our Saturdays of having garage sales. Starting at 7 am, ok 7:30 sometimes, and then sending the hubby to get us Taco Cabana for breakfast. We always had so much fun doing it and always made a good chunk of cash which was always intended for bills, but usually got blown on fun stuff! I am so glad that Amanda got to take that trip with us to Charlotte when we moved up here. She calmed me when I freaked out, which is always. Especially when we were stuck between a rock and a hard place. That’s an inside joke that always makes Zac mad when we talk about it. But we can look back on that and laugh. I miss being invited over for the family BBQ at the De La Cruz house. Which you know happened all the time just because. I miss going over to her house intending to scrapbook but instead just ending up eating dinner, playing with Austen and Aysen, shopping, talking, and watching one of our recorded shows. She is the bestest friend I ever had and always will be. Who knows, maybe some day we will move back to TX. Get us some land and a horse or too. Raise our little girl right, you know the Tx way. But until then we are only a phone call, video chat, and an airplane ride away. Love and Miss mi Manda! Aye hay hay haiiiy!! Of course had to end with the grieto!
